This is the Trend Micro detection for the compromised SysConst.dcu file used by Borland Delphi compilers.

All files compiled or linked using the infected SysConst.dcu will be infected. These infected files belong to PE_INDUC family.

Step 1

Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.

Step 2

Remove the malware/grayware file that dropped/downloaded TROJ_INDUC.AA

    • PE_INDUC.{variant}

Step 3

Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as TROJ_INDUC.AA. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files. Restore these deleted files from backup
