  • %User Profile%\tab4vrtve.exe
  • %User Profile%\wgsdgsdgdsgsd.exe
  • %User Profile%\ab43yctewatv.exe
  • %User Profile%\a43vtzgbdgv.exe
  • %User Profile%\atv4tvq34.exe
  • %User Profile%\bg34dfbewgba4.exe
  • %User Profile%\av4a43by4ayb.exe

(Note: %User Profile% is the current user's profile folder, which is usually C:\Documents and Settings\{user name} on Windows 2000, XP, and Server 2003, or C:\Users\{user name} on Windows Vista and 7.)

It then executes the downloaded files. As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded files are exhibited on the affected system.

It downloads a possibly malicious file from a certain URL. The URL where this malware downloads the said file depends on the following parameter(s) passed on to it by its components:

Step 1

Before doing any scans, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 users must disable System Restore to allow full scanning of their computers.

Remove malware/grayware files dropped/downloaded by JAVA_ARCAL.A
