This Trojan comes as an attachment to spammed email. It carries with it a backdoor that runs on Mac OS X systems.

NOTES: This malware is a Microsoft Word document file. If opened in Windows OS, the malicious routine does not execute successfully. However, if opened in Mac OS X, the malicious routine executes successfully.
For Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 users, before doing any scans, please make sure you disable System Restore to allow full scanning of your computer.
Remove malware/grayware files dropped/downloaded by TROJ_MDROPR.LB
Search and delete these files
To delete malware/grayware component files:
Scan your computer with your Trend Micro product to delete files detected as TROJ_MDROPR.LB. If the detected files have already been cleaned, deleted, or quarantined by your Trend Micro product, no further step is required. You may opt to simply delete the quarantined files.
